Devendra Banhart – Ma

Devendra Banhart performs in Lisbon in February 2020, in a double dose. The North-American musician takes the Capitol stage to present his latest work, Ma. Filled with autobiographical traits, Ma illustrates a change of record compared to previous albums, revealing a more emotional and intimate way of storytelling. The album succeeds Ape in Pink Marble (2016) and presents itself as Banhart’s 10th long-running original. Over 13 tracks, sung in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Banhart privileges the organic sounds that, along with strings, wind and keyboard, accompany his voice and guitar.
